I went to my son's wedding. It was a lovely ceremony but the reception was even better.

Season for newly harvested rice

September is the season for newly harvested rice in Japan. The rice fields turn a shining golden color, and the new rice comes on the market. I immediately bought the rice at the JA-KUSATSU agricultural center. Newly harvested rice tastes best.

Cherrytomatos

I picked cherrytomatos on my vegetable garden.

From April 14th to April 15th, the Hachiman festival in which messengers tell of the arrival of spring in ia held in Oumi-Hachiman, Shiga.

Sakura-meshi

I cooked　delicious Sakura-meshi includes adding octopus to the rice.

Sukiyaki

Yesterday's dinner was sukiyaki. Sukiyaki is thin slices of beef cooked with vegetables at the table in soy sauce and sugar.

NHK's period drama "FuurinKazan" is a good way to escape from boring everyday life.

The weather is unseasonably hot! I didn't think about much of anything today.

The days are gradually getting longer. I can feel signs of spring coming.

Yesterday, I received dental treatment. I was stuck in waiting room forever.

Setting-in of spring

Toay(February 4th) is setting-in of spring. In Japan, the traditional end of winter falls on February 3rd, and is known as Setsubun. Spring comes along.

Savings stamp at post-office

I am making a collection of savings stamp at post-office. Today, I went to Hieidaira-post-office, I got a treasure savings stamp there.

Cake

Son's friend gave my family some cake last Saturday, That cake tasted good.

Check-up

I had a check-up last Tuesday. Nothing's more important than your health.

Antique fair

I went out to the antique fair held in To-ji Temple on the 21st every month. I'm tired.

Busy

I was run off my feet this week. Especially, I barely had time to breathe yesterday.

I visited Ise Jingu Shrine at the beginning of the new year. I ate Akafuku-mochi.

I appreciated the customary TV program in the re-broadcasting.

New Year holidays

I had diarrhea New Year holidays,so I couldn't eat anything. I wonder if I ate something bad.
